There is nothing to download and nothing to learn.

You keep the same phone, the same WhatsApp and the same shopping list. The only thing that changes is that you stop driving to four shops on a Saturday.

Ordering

Say it, type it, or photograph the list.

All three work. Most people send a voice note because it is easier than typing, and because they remember three more things halfway through.

A person reads or listens to every order and reads it back to you before anyone goes shopping. If something is unclear, they ask. If something on your list has gone up sharply this week, they will tell you and ask what you want to do.

If your brand is finished, you get a photo of the alternative and the price before it goes in the trolley. You say yes or no.

Short-dated items are flagged in the aisle, not discovered by you on Tuesday. Cold items go straight into the fridge if you want the help.

You know who is coming

You get the shopper’s name and photo before they arrive. If it is anyone else at your gate, don’t open — call the number on your card.

Beyond groceries

The things that also need collecting.

A parcel from the post office, gas for the stove, a prepaid electricity token. The trip is already happening — these ride along at no extra fee.

Chronic medicine is the one we can do better than ride along with. Scripts are dispensed by Kirospharma, our own pharmacy, so the repeat is filled and collected on the same trip, and the medicine on your docket is priced at cost with no dispensing fee.

Getting there

The appointment is covered. The lift is the problem.

If your parents are on a medical aid, the specialist is arranged and the hospital is booked. What nobody has solved is the ninety minutes at either end — driving there, parking, waiting, and getting home again afterwards.

PriveCarte adds a return trip to a private hospital or clinic, driven by someone your parents already know, who waits and brings them home. Not a stranger in a taxi at the door of a hospital, and not a favour a neighbour has to be asked for.

How it works

Booked like any other trip

Send the appointment letter or a voice note with the date. The pod schedules the vehicle, collects at the gate, waits at the hospital, and brings them home. Included once a month on Household & care, or booked as an add-on on any plan.

This is scheduled, non-emergency transport with a companion. It is not an ambulance and not a medical transport service — in an emergency, call your armed response or emergency number, not us.
